Screensavers come in various hues and themes and there is hardly a shortage of them. From screensavers that contain themes related to nature to ones that contain movie stars, the choice is endless. Now how about a screensaver that shows the time in form of a classical clock and yet catches your fantasy of space travel. Well the Rocket Clock Screensaver 3.0 touches on such themes and takes you through a sojourn across planets while you still get to see the time go by.
On launch the Rocket Clock Screensaver 3.0 springs across you an array of bright colors amongst which a majestic clock flies away. With a styling close to arcade style space games, the screensaver showcases several recognizable elements, from rockets to comets zipping pass your screen. The clock includes a seemingly peculiar dial design while small array of bright stars seem to lie in its center. In the distant background a host of stars and some planets to come into the view. A specific planet can be observed in the right corner of the screen and it includes rings around it. On the technical front the screensaver is extremely light to run and barely consumes any system resources. In fact it just needs ten megabytes of free space to run and can work on old machines sporting Windows 98 or XP. Moreover it can be downloaded and installed within minutes without a hassle. The accompanying theme music is quite apt as per the overall thematic sketch and you may just take a liking to this fancy yet understated screensaver.
On account of its imaginative concept design and neat aesthetics, we mark the Rocket Clock Screensaver 3.0 with a score of two and a half rating stars. The screensaver has the potential to grab eyeballs and can become a favorite with many young kids.
